Pre-press Services
Brainstorming with clients is often the first step in the printing process. This allows the Al Khat team of graphic artists and designers to develop concepts and artwork that meet and exceed clients’ expectations. We develop their ideas into reality be it a magazine, Book, Brochure or Catalogue.
For our pre-press team no task is big as they have successfully handled almost every kind of printing tasks including Corporate Stationery, Books, Magazine, Catalogue, Wedding/ Invitation Cards Leaflets/ Flyers, Brochures, Journals/ News Letters, Calendars, Posters to name but few.
Our innovative team of designers is experience in all the different stages of printing including images and texts adjustment, typesetting, copy-editing, markup, proofing, proofreading, imposition, screening and adjustment, high-quality print file and selection of paper are diligently handled and then the print file or the plate is sent finally for printing. Of course, all the changes during proofreading are applied with the consent of the clients.

- Post-press Services
Attention to details is the hallmark of quality. The post press processes adopted by Al Khat are as quality-driven as the post-press and press processes. The state-of-the-art, fully equipped department is where the job gets finished. In fact, the print job gets its real shape after the post press process. Similar to other processes, we look carefully at every single detail before the final product is delivered to our clients.
Some of the main responsibilities of the post press processes include folding, cutting, nipping, stitching, sewing, lamination etc. Each task needs experience and know-how so as the others. Therefore, we give every post press process equal importance. Overall color balance across the sheet, embossing, foil stamping, die-cutting and binding is also taken care of with the help of latest equipments under our roof.
As proper binding is the final touch for any publications, our quality binding that gives a polish appearance and longevity to the final product always sets up on top of our competitors.
